I am a historian of early modern Britain and Scandinavia.
Currently, I am writing up my doctoral thesis at the University of Oxford. My thesis is a comparative study of the universities of Oxford and Copenhagen in the eighteenth century.
I am also a Department Head for the Museums of the Norwegian Coastal Administration (Kystverkmusea) and the Museums for Coastal Heritage and Reconstruction in Finnmark (Museene for kystkultur og gjenreising i Finnmark). My work there involves public history, museum research, and museum curation.
